globeone is happy to inform about its successful participation at the 2012 University2Business networking event held on February 28, 2012 at Cologne Business School. The company’s workshop was visited by 25 students. The topic presented was “The BRICs – Key to Sustainable Growth – Marketing Challenges in the BRIC Countries”, and it dealt with similarities and unique characteristics concerning marketing and communication in the BRICs, as well as provided insights to the image of German brands in the BRIC markets. Marketing strategies in the context of Chinese culture peculiarities evoked great interest among the students. Globeone has also conducted a case study which students had to solve applying their theoretical knowledge about strategy and marketing concepts in practice. Afterwards students could ask questions and speak directly with Carina Hauswald, the company’s manager, and learn more about the company and future internship opportunities.
