International brand management and communications consultancy globeone continues its rapid expansion in Asia Pacific with the opening of a new office in Seoul, South Korea.
The Seoul office is globeone’s seventh location worldwide. The investment is part of the company’s plan to extend its footprint in Asia Pacific, in direct response to growing demands from global clients for strategically-aligned brand consulting across the region. In June last year, the company launched a Beijing office (joining the Shanghai office to serve the burgeoning Chinese market) and entered Singapore. Headquarters Cologne and offices in Mumbai and São Paulo round out the globeone network.
With strong competence in market-oriented business management, globeone helps a large roster of global clients develop and implement branding, marketing and communication strategies in the world’s fastest-growing emerging markets, with a strong focus on China, India, Brazil, Russia and Southeast Asia. Its clients include major players in the automotive, chemical, retail and FMCG industries.
Dr. Niklas Schaffmeister, founder and Group Managing Director of globeone, said, “I’m very delighted to announce the opening of our new office in Seoul. Asia is a strategically significant market for us and many of our clients. Following the establishment of our Korea base, we are now even better-positioned to help our clients develop brand and marketing strategies for the unique and high-potential Korean market, already a frontrunner in digital marketing innovations.”
globeone Seoul will be headed by Managing Director Soowha Oh, who has more than 10 years of experience in PR and consulting. Prior to globeone, she was responsible for account management at Fleishman-Hillard, KorCom Porter Novelli and the Hoffman Agency, working with clients in industries as varied as IT, chemicals, automation, shipbuilding as well as internet and online gaming. Oh will report directly to Dr. Schaffmeister.
