This ensures the purpose is not only top-down but also bottom-up, reflecting the collective ethos and aspirations of the entire corporate ecosystem.
  • Enable: Purpose should be deeply integrated into the company’s culture. This means embedding it into the HR policies, leadership principles, and everyday business practices. Employees at all levels should be encouraged to embody the corporate purpose in their roles.
  • Execute: Finally, the purpose is launched. Clear and consistent communication is critical. The purpose should be articulated in a way that is easy to understand and resonates emotionally with internal and external audiences. This involves storytelling that connects the company’s daily operations to its broader societal contributions.
