Our approach

Strategy-led culture development works by intentionally shaping a company’s culture to align with and support the strategic goals and purpose of the organization. In this approach, the organizational culture is not left to form organically; instead, it is actively designed and cultivated to reinforce the company’s strategic direction. The key steps involve defining the strategic objectives, identifying the current cultural traits that will support these objectives, and then embedding these traits into the company’s values, behaviors, processes and practices through leadership modeling, communication, and policies. This deliberate cultivation of culture ensures that the company’s daily operations and employee behaviors are conducive to achieving its strategic purpose, creating a cohesive and focused organization. While the intended design of corporate culture is not a simple thing to achieve, there are many examples like Hubspot, Nucore, Haier or Netfix that illustrate that corporate culture can be systematically built to support strategy.
