Transformation Strategy

Is your company ready to transform to better? Let us be your co-pilots in ensuring that your transformational efforts will be successful

Our approach

In most transformation projects, we apply our extension of the “dual transformation strategy framework” that was initially developed at Harvard Business School. The approach acknowledges that a successful transformation consists of several independent transformations. “Transformation A” aims to reinvent the existing core-business by adapting it to the changing market conditions and technologies in order to make it more resilient and competitive. “Transformation B” sets focus on creating new business models and capitalizing on new growth opportunities that are distinct from the core operations but leverage existing capabilities or assets. From a communication point of view, both transformations need to be carefully coordinated as both transformations compete for resources & management attention. A clear and consistent narrative & related messaging, a segmented communication strategy and consistent leadership engagement as well as effective two-way feedback collection mechanisms are critical for success.

Results to expect

A dual transformation is appealing because it allows organizations in disruptive environments to continue improving their current core business while also investing in future opportunities, balancing short-term gains with long-term sustainability. Our strategy & related project management work aims to ensure that the company remains relevant and can sustain growth. By carefully planning and executing the communication of a dual transformation strategy, organizations can ensure better alignment, foster engagement, and increase the likelihood of successful outcomes.
